DALLAS - illiNews -- At Epic Fit Fest, our mission is to celebrate the strength, beauty, and resilience of minorities by creating curated fitness experiences. We are excited to announce that on September 22nd, we will be hosting our very first fitness festival at the Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Epic Fit Fest is dedicated to fostering a supportive community where every participant feels valued, motivated, and energized to embrace a fun and active lifestyle. Our festival proudly features Black-owned vendors, Black-owned food trucks, and Black fitness instructors, highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity within our community. Together, we are redefining fitness as a space of inclusion, positivity, and cultural celebration.
"We are thrilled to bring Epic Fit Fest to life and create an event that celebrates diversity, wellness, and community," says Duffey, co-curator of Epic Fit Fest. "Our goal is to provide a platform for Black-owned businesses and talented fitness instructors to showcase their offerings and inspire others to prioritize their health and well-being."
Dr. Kristi Andrew, co-curator of Epic Fit Fest, adds, "We believe that fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or fitness level. Epic Fit Fest is an opportunity for people to come together, support one another, and enjoy a day filled with engaging activities, educational workshops, and a sense of community."
