CHICAGO ~ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson released a statement this evening on the passing of Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, mother of his Senior Advisor, Jason Lee. The mayor described Rep. Jackson Lee as a trailblazer who dedicated her career to advocating for a better future for all. Her passing is being mourned not only by the residents of Texas' 18th Congressional District, but also by the entire country.
