DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - illiNews -- You are invited to join Downtown Downers Grove for Small Business Weekend, November 24-26, 2023. The weekend events kick-off with the Village of Downers Grove Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 pm, November 24th. Santa will help illuminate the tree, kicking-off the festive season in Downtown Downers Grove.
Do not miss your chance to vote for your favorite Holiday Window displays among the participating businesses downtown. Voting runs through December 10, 2023, and while you're at it, keep an eye out for the Gingerbread House competition entries. Cast your vote before December 3, 2023.
While enjoying the downtown look for the Gingerbread Man in participating business windows. Kids completing the hunt can redeem their hunt form for a prize, while adults can email a picture of the completed form to info@downtowndg.org for a chance to win a downtown D.G. gift card.
Santa will be in his Gingerbread House for complimentary visits on Saturdays and Sundays, November 25-December 17, 2023, 1-4pm.

Sunday, November 26th, 1-4 pm, enjoy a complimentary horse-drawn wagon ride through downtown Downers Grove.
All weekend enjoy strolling carolers from a variety of community groups. Strolling carolers will be here all season long, Saturdays and Sundays through December 17th.
Don't forget to save your receipts. Spend a minimum of $100 at 3 downtown Downers Grove businesses and you can earn $10 in Candy Cane Cash Rewards. Our token of appreciation for supporting local businesses this holiday season.
