OAK BROOK, Ill. - Feb. 27, 2019 - illiNews -- Industrial Steam is proud to announce the update to their manufacturing process with the acquisition of a Prima Platino general purpose laser cutting machine. With our new laser cutting abilities, Industrial Steam will continue to exceed the demand of their customers. The techs at Industrial Steam have achieved certification and have been up and running the new equipment since late in 2018.

The Prima Platino laser cutting machine allows Industrial Steam to cut 5 times faster than the previous water jet technology.  The 5000-watt laser has the capabilities to cut up to 1" material with precision while maintaining an optimum cut quality allowing Industrial Steam to have production ready parts without the need of post processing.  With a wide range of automation modules such as an automated loading table, this is the right solution for Industrial Steam's large-scale production.
