Chicago-based custom apparel company connects appointments, pickup and shipping, quotes, RFQs, RFPs, company stores, proofs and approvals through a custom-built digital workflow
CHICAGO - illiNews -- CHICAGO, IL - Inkdnylon Custom Apparel has expanded its internal customer, procurement and production infrastructure, connecting key stages of the custom apparel and branded product process through a custom-built digital workflow.
The system now supports customer appointments, pickup and shipping workflows, quote requests, Requests for Quote (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), private company stores, artwork and production proofs, revision handling and final production approval.
The infrastructure was developed specifically around how Inkdnylon operates. Available off-the-shelf systems and disconnected tools did not work for Inkdnylon's specific operating requirements or provide the continuity and control needed across its customer, procurement and production processes.
Inkdnylon continues to apply the Success Vocabulary System (SVS) across the development of its customer, procurement and production workflows.
Rather than forcing its processes into software that did not fit those requirements, Inkdnylon developed connected infrastructure that moves customer and project information through defined stages from initial inquiry through purchasing, production preparation and authorization.

Customers and organizations can enter the system through different pathways depending on project scope, including appointments, artwork submissions, standard quote requests, larger RFQ opportunities, formal RFP programs and private company store programs.
For larger buyers, Inkdnylon supports structured procurement workflows for uniforms, employee apparel, branded merchandise, promotional products and ongoing purchasing programs.
Inkdnylon's private company stores provide businesses and organizations with a repeatable way to manage approved uniforms, employee apparel and branded merchandise. These programs are built around controlled product selections, approved branding, purchasing and fulfillment rather than a traditional print-on-demand model.
The company's custom-built production proof system adds another layer to the infrastructure. Customers receive secure links tied to specific production proofs and can submit revision instructions and supporting files directly through the workflow.
Each revision remains connected to the specific proof and revision round. When a revised proof is issued, the customer receives a new secure review link. Once final approval is recorded, the customer receives a copy of the approved production proof before production proceeds.

Approved final proof files can be retained for up to one year, while revision files and superseded proof versions are scheduled for automated removal following approval.
Together, these systems create clearer transitions between customer requests, procurement, artwork review, approval and production while giving Inkdnylon direct control over the infrastructure supporting those processes.
Inkdnylon provides embroidery, screen printing, DTF, DTG, vinyl, sublimation, patches, promotional products and branded apparel for businesses, organizations, universities, municipalities, nonprofits and procurement teams.
