NILES, Ill. - illiNews -- On May 13, 1965, Jerry Chesnul (Jeron CEO) filed articles of incorporation with the state of Illinois which officially began Jeron Electronic Systems, Inc. as a company. More than half a decade later, Jeron Electronic Systems, Inc. is excited to be celebrating 60 years in business in 2025.
To this day, Jeron remains a family-run business that designs and manufactures alerting and communications systems for the healthcare, commercial, and residential markets. With family members in all senior management roles, this provides a direct line of communication from end-user facilities to management, enabling a nimble design and manufacturing process that adapts to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.
Jeron's highly reliable and scalable systems ensure that customers can rely on them 24/7 for both routine and emergency situations. With over 97% of all components sourced in the U.S.A., Jeron systems and service components are always available in a timely manner to ensure end-users' systems are installed quickly and always up and running.
Jeron's first nurse call platform was introduced in the mid-1970s and Jeron has continued to enhance their platforms to meet the ever-changing needs of different healthcare markets that include acute care, skilled care, assisted living, clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers.
