CHICAGO - illiNews -- Kettera Strategies, the Chicago-based alternative investment platform operator, announced its adoption of Bite Stream, the digital investor experience platform developed by Bite Investments, as the exclusive electronic subscription and investor management system for Kettera's Hydra™ marketplace.
Kettera's Hydra platform provides investors access to liquid, diversifying trading strategies. The integration of Bite Stream represents a significant step in Kettera's mission to modernize the investor experience and expand access to institutional-quality strategies.
Bite Stream provides digital infrastructure for investor onboarding, subscriptions, investor relations, and compliance workflows, forming part of an end-to-end platform designed to streamline the investor experience. With Kettera integrating the system, Hydra investors will benefit from a fully digital onboarding process enabling electronic subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers across Hydra Cells and related vehicles using a streamlined interface designed to improve efficiency and operational oversight.

"The age of paper and PDF forms circulating by email for traditional investments died about 10 to 15 years ago," said Jon Stein, CEO of Kettera. "While alternative investments took a bit longer to catch up, most serious investors now expect a fully digital experience when accessing these investments."
Kettera believes the Bite Stream system will accelerate adoption of the Hydra platform among U.S. wealth advisors and RIAs, where efficient digital transaction capability is required.
