CHICAGO ~ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership hosted the 2026 Fall Citywide Career Fair at Kennedy-King College, connecting residents with employers and workforce resources.
The event brought together City, County, community and private-sector partners to promote job opportunities in high-demand industries and pathways to sustainable-wage employment. It also marked the capstone of Workforce Development Month, which highlights the role of employers, educators and community organizations in building career pathways and supporting economic growth.
"Every Chicagoan deserves access to meaningful employment and pathways to a secure future," Johnson said, adding that the fair brings employers, job seekers, training and support services together to expand opportunity.
