~ Naperville residents are invited to attend the annual Public Safety Open House on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Public Safety Campus located at 1380 Aurora Ave. The event, hosted by the Naperville Police and Fire Departments, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The open house promises to be a fun and educational day for the whole family, with activities, giveaways, and safety information provided by Naperville's public safety teams. Attendees can look forward to exciting demonstrations such as hazardous materials and flashover fires conducted by the Fire Department, as well as a mock traffic stop and DUI arrest by the Police Department.

In addition to these demonstrations, participants will have the opportunity to interact with police and fire equipment and vehicles, gather fire safety and crime prevention information, and talk with officers and firefighters. Crime scene detectives will also be on hand to teach attendees how to dust for fingerprints, while real telecommunicators will provide lessons on calling 9-1-1.
