NM-Chicago Elevates Tina Donoghue to Senior Director of Selection and Recruiter Development

CHICAGO - illiNews -- Northwestern Mutual-Chicago has promoted Tina Donoghue to Senior Director of Selection and Recruiter Development.

Since joining Northwestern Mutual-Chicago in 2018 as Recruiting Associate Director, Donoghue has been responsible for full-cycle recruiting for The Higney District, one of the firm's six teams. She was later promoted to Director of Recruitment in 2020.

In 2021, Donoghue earned national recognition as a Top 4 recruiter of diverse financial representatives and Top 10 overall recruiter among Northwestern Mutual's more than 70 talent acquisition professionals.

In her new role, Donoghue will work closely with the executive leadership team to build talent acquisition and retention programs to drive the firm's shared vision and values.

Donoghue serves as a member of the firm's Childhood Cancer Philanthropic committee, which drives awareness and raises funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. She is also a member of the Chicago Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, which honored Northwestern Mutual-Chicago with the Corporate Partner Award in 2019.

Donoghue holds a Bachelor of Science in International Studies from Saint Xavier University. She also earned an Associate of Arts degree from Moraine Valley Community College.

She serves as an Associate Board Member of the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club and a Finance Advisory Board Member of Rasmussen College.

She and her husband reside in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
