Connecticut Valley Homes, a residential design-build firm serving multiple states, received three awards from the Building Systems Council (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
FAIRFIELD, Conn. - illiNews -- East Lyme, Conn. – Connecticut Valley Homes, a residential design-build firm serving multiple states, received three awards from the Building Systems Council (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Two of their custom-designed homes received the Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Home Design, one in the category of homes between 2001-3000 square feet and another for homes between 3001-4000 square feet. A national designation, each home was recognized as the year's best systems-built structure using modular construction.
These awards were announced at NAHB's 2019 Building Systems Summit held this week in Pittsburgh.
Connecticut Valley Homes also received the Jerry Rouleau Award in Marketing for Social Media Outreach, driven by the work of Dave Cooper and the video campaign delivered via YouTube, FaceBook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. The videos feature homes under construction, the products, the process and the people for whom they are built.

"Connecticut Valley Homes is honored and humbled to receive these awards. There is a hardworking team behind each of the homes we build, starting with the clients we serve. We celebrate this honor and share it with our manufacturers, our trade partners, service providers and all those who help us deliver a great product and a terrific client experience," said Catherine Taylor, Founder of Connecticut Valley Homes.
Since 1981, Connecticut Valley Homes has built nearly 1600 homes along the coast and throughout the towns of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Fishers Island and Block Island using modular construction. Based in East Lyme and with Design Studios in Fairfield, Connecticut and Westerly, Rhode Island, Connecticut Valley Homes works with clients from New York City to Boston and serves families across the country looking to relocate or vacation along the New England coastline.
"We've refined our process over the years and worked hard at keeping the process simple. For that reason, we are able to build for clients from all over the country. And because our homes are built indoors, in a controlled factory environment, we work year-round despite the New England weather," said Richard Wildermuth, President.
