BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - illiNews -- The new photo is showing the seating view of the Virginia Theatre from the stage. It can be found on page 4 of the 2019 - 2020 Season Brochure of the Virginia Theatre in Champaign, Illinois and can be viewed in the link below:

Simone Williams, the owner and architectural photographer of the firm, said that she is very excited for the photo to be published in the 2019 - 2020 Virginia Theatre Season Brochure. She went on to say that the image was created out of over 300 separate photos. Lighting up each seat in the front rows to create even lighting across and then compositing each of the 300 images into one final image that shows the best lighting scenario of the theatre.

She further explained that she used this technique to help her overcome the challenging lighting situation in the theatre. To be able to display the full beauty of the architecture in all its details, the majority of the ceiling and seating had to be illuminated separately. This made the final image look even and without any loss of the actual feel of the theatre's ambiance.
