Bixa Beauty is excited to share their three newest colors for this coming fall. With the release of Hey Mrs.Parker, Plain Jane, and Sugar Plum, Bixa Beauty aims to continue its mission with its all-natural, affordable, and vegan-friendly products.
CHICAGO - illiNews -- Bixa Beauty is a black, female-owned enterprise founded in Chicago, that prides itself on GMO and paraben-free products. CEO Deida Massey is a 20-year beauty industry veteran and makeup artist that decided to seize an opportunity on a visit to a spice farm in Zanzibar. There she was introduced to the Bixa plant, also known as the lipstick plant. Then with a little research found that the plant products a reddish-orange tint. Pairing that research with a simple idea to give people everywhere affordable and sustainable products, Bixa Beauty was born and the rest is history. But the mission does not stop there!
Bixa Beauty also prived educational opportunities and entrepreneurial development for youth at the Uzima Cent in Mwanza, Tanzania. They are fully committed to positively affecting the lives of youths and helping them reach their educational goals in whatever way possible. When purchasing a Bixa Beauty product, 10% of that purchase goes towards making a positive change in the lives of the children at the Uzima Center. In the end, Bixa Beauty is providing hope and a helping hand to those who need it, in their own special way, while allowing you to be a part of that as well.
