Economic incentives procurement is little-known to the public, but Brian Wahl and his incentives team at RESOURCE provide expertise in helping companies nationally to reap rewards for their growth.
Local and state governments want to attract and retain growing businesses. And to do so, they offer incentives such as grants, tax credits, and abatements to companies that are in "growth mode", meaning that the company is planning to create new jobs, invest in real estate (buying, leasing, or building), and/or purchase equipment.
The Incentives Team at RESOURCE helps growing businesses nationwide negotiate economic incentives packages, manage location decisions and understand cost comparative analysis among specific locations, municipalities, and states. A company should consult an advisor on possible incentives before completing executing any of the aforementioned growth changes. In October 2019, the RESOURCE incentives team negotiated $2,110,000 in economic incentives for BraunAbility's plans to add 68 jobs and $8,000,000 in capital investment in a new facility and equipment.
