CHICAGO - illiNews -- The Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce (GECC) and the GE Chamber Foundation are thrilled to announce "Englewood's Global Vision Fundraiser: Honoring Our Legacy," an event dedicated to celebrating the enduring businesses of Englewood and supporting the growth of small businesses in the Greater Englewood area.

• Location: Calahan Legacy Center, Englewood, IL

This elegant evening will feature a delightful blend of gourmet food, lively entertainment, and the company of community leaders and supporters.

The fundraiser aims to raise $250,000 to provide critical funding to small businesses in Greater Englewood. The funds will be allocated as follows:

• $50,000 in emergency funding for brick-and-mortar small businesses to help them navigate unforeseen challenges.
• $100,000 to support gap funding for small business improvement projects, fostering growth and development.
• $100,000 for GECC general operating expenses, ensuring we continue to offer essential resources such as mentoring, financial literacy programs, marketing assistance, and access to capital.
