PLAINFIELD, Ill. - illiNews -- Larry's Diner announces the opening of their outdoor dining area.

"There is nothing better than enjoying your meal while relaxing under the warm blue sky! If it rains or turns cold you can come inside and dine near our fireplace." says owner/manager Gus Alexopoulos. "Open for morning breakfast, enjoy the spring breeze for lunch or a unique dinner adventure with the kids!"

"We offer great food at great prices, and you can either dine outside on warm days or near our fireplace when it is cold." says owner/manager Gus Alexopoulos. "And on our website our menu pages turn just like a book, which is a neat and fun extra!"

Our business was started in the 1930's as a roadside vegetable market, and soon expanded to offer food to travelers exploring the famous Route 66. A diner was opened, and over the years has grown into our family restaurant.

Extended hours (5am-10pm 7 days a week), daily specials and homemade soup are always available on Illinois RT126 just west of downtown Plainfield.
