On Monday, September 28, 2020, at approximately 7:29 p.m., Naperville Police Officers responded to the 100 block of East Bailey Road for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that a pizza delivery driver had been robbed. The offender, who implied he had a firearm, told the driver to give him all his money or he would be shot. The victim handed the offender United States currency and the offender fled the area prior to NPD's arrival. A description of the suspect was developed based on victim and witness statements, along with other evidence. On February 3, 2021, a robbery arrest warrant was obtained for the below subject. This offender was also recently arrested by the Chicago Police Department for aggravated vehicular hijacking. No one was injured during this incident.

Suspect Information: Dumareah Johmel Taylor 21, of the 1200 block of N. Mason Avenue, Chicago, IL, was charged with one (1) felony count of (class 2) Robbery, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/18-1(a).
If anyone has information regarding these crimes, they are encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
