~ On the evening of February 10, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred at the intersection of 103rd Street and Book Road in Naperville. According to reports from the Naperville Police Department and Fire Department, emergency personnel were called to the scene at approximately 9:37 p.m. for a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a blue 2008 Infiniti G35 in the backyards about 100 feet east of the T-intersection. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Patrick M. Larkin, a 59-year-old male from Naperville. Sadly, Mr. Larkin was pronounced deceased after being transported to a local hospital.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the Infiniti was traveling eastbound on 103rd Street when it failed to stop at the intersection and crashed through a fence on the east side before coming to rest on its hood. Due to the severity of the crash, traffic investigators and reconstruction specialists from the Naperville Police Department's Traffic Unit were called to the scene.
The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Naperville Police Department's Traffic Unit at 630-420-8833. Our thoughts are with Mr. Larkin's loved ones during this difficult time as authorities work to determine the cause of this devastating crash.
