In the first case, a young woman was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of Clark and Orrington in Evanston when she was struck by an uninsured driver. She suffered a scalp laceration that required a trip to the ER by ambulance. Because the driver carried no insurance, we pursued an uninsured motorist claim.
