SAN MATEO, Calif., April 18, 2024 ~ Baszucki Group, a leading organization in the field of metabolic mental health, has recently announced the appointment of Jeff MacGregor as their new Chief Communications Officer. In this role, MacGregor will be responsible for overseeing all strategic communications efforts, including media relations, documentary films, and brand management for the company's metabolic mental health initiative, Metabolic Mind.
According to Jan Ellison Baszucki, co-founder of Baszucki Group alongside Roblox founder and CEO David Baszucki, MacGregor brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the role. "He will play a key role in driving our mission to reverse the worldwide metabolic and mental health epidemics," she stated. "His strategic thinking and deep experience in communications and advocacy will be invaluable as we work towards restoring the integrity of the earth's soils for healthy food and a stable climate, and rescuing America's democracy from the fringes."
MacGregor joins Baszucki Group from his previous role as Vice President of Communications for Science at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) and Head of Communications and Brand at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network. During his time at CZI, he oversaw communications and brand functions for both organizations' science work and served as chief science communications advisor to their scientific leadership.

Prior to his role at CZI, MacGregor held various positions in marketing, public relations, and advertising. He also executive produced two award-winning documentary films. With over fifty awards under his belt including SXSW, Chicago International Film Festival, Webby Awards, New York Festivals, and Canadian Marketing Awards, MacGregor brings a wealth of expertise to Baszucki Group.

MacGregor holds a BA in English and Drama from the University of Toronto and currently resides with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has also served as an advisory board member for Big Data Programs at Rutgers, San Francisco State University, and California State University - East Bay.
With MacGregor's extensive experience and passion for the field of metabolic mental health, Baszucki Group is poised to make even greater strides in their mission to improve global health and sustainability.
