CHICAGO - illiNews -- Author Michael Finney is releasing a new alternative history fictional short story called Bloody Sepulchre in audiobook format. The narrative takes place in a world where the Spanish Empire still dominates the Americas.
In the shadows of Nueva España, tensions escalate between the indigenous population and their colonial masters, Mikicia finds himself captured by the Inquisition and an ambitious soldier, Vicente. While their past has common threads, they fray in the present as a result of conflict and duty.
Will one man's rebellion ignite a fire that consumes them all?
Michael Finney said, "Bloody Sepulchre was an intense audio production. Though it was just over a 30-minute narration read, this story has received an audio drama treatment as well, which includes approximately one hundred sound effects and eight tracks in the digital audio workspace that was used."
