Brazil 021 Chicago empowers kids through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, building confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills to stand strong against bullying.
CHICAGO - illiNews -- Brazil 021 Chicago, a leading Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located at 2643 W Chicago Ave, has announced the expansion of its youth martial arts program to help children develop confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills to stand up against bullying.
With bullying remaining a serious issue in schools across Chicago, Brazil 021 Chicago is taking a proactive role in providing kids with the tools to protect themselves—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The academy's Kids' Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) program focuses on teaching practical self-defense while instilling respect, teamwork, and resilience.
"Bullying affects far too many children, leading to anxiety, low self-esteem, and fear," said Professor André "Negão" Terêncio, head instructor at Brazil 021 Chicago. "Our goal is not to encourage fighting, but to empower kids with the confidence and awareness to handle difficult situations. When children feel secure in themselves, they're less likely to be targeted, and more prepared to resolve conflicts peacefully."
