Although the past two years have seen a great advance in the uptake of organizations switching to use some form of online assessment or remote test development, Certiverse was founded in 2019 with the intent to democratize certification with greater ease of access using a virtual system.
"Certiverse was proactively designed to meet the changing needs of education and the workforce that have only come into greater focus," said Certiverse CEO/co-founder Ruben Arturo Garcia. "As a global company, we're honored to be recognized for our work by this expert international committee."
Professor Bob Harrison, Chair of the Judges said, "This is my second year as Chair of the judging panel and yet again it has been an enormous privilege and a tremendous source of inspiration to see how collaboration between educators, assessment bodies, technologists and commercial interests have worked together, despite the challenges of the pandemic. These awards demonstrate the capacity and capability within the world of e-assessment to use technology to improve the assessment process and make it more accessible, reliable, valid, relevant, and cost effective."
