Spend the weekend downtown Downers Grove enjoying ice fun suitable for all ages! Live ice carvings, sculptures and ice games will adorn the downtown.

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - illiNews -- A live ice carving under the lights on Friday night, 5:30-7:30pm (on the southeast corner of Main St. & Curtiss St.) will kick off the icy fun! The artistry of ice carving will continue on Saturday and Sunday, 11am-3pm, at the Main Street Train Station.

Enjoy nearly 60 pre-carved ice sculptures that will line the streets of Downtown Downers Grove. Discover beautiful sculptures of a unicorn, castle, leprechaun, pig, Eiffel Tower, a football player and many more intriguing ice sculptures. Keep your eye out for the ice games such as bean bag toss, Bozo buckets, ring toss, and Connect Four. Don't forget to snap a picture in the Kissing Booth, the I Love Downtown Downers Grove picture frame or the 11 1/2 ft. tall lighted heart on Main.
