Indianapolis Designer Le Catou Makes Debut at Paris Fashion Week

CHICAGO - illiNews -- Indianapolis, IN - Le Catou, the Indianapolis-based fashion brand by designer Berny Martin, unveiled a stunning new collection at a prestigious Parisian showroom on June 27th, 2024.

Guided by the creative direction of international fashion designer Berny Martin, Le Catou's signature elegance took center stage, focusing on empowerment and channeling the fantasy of a glamorous ball. "This collection is inspired to keep excellence," says Martin. "We want to give back to the communities that make a difference and be the difference ourselves."

Inspired by a night of fashion, glamour, and philanthropy, the collection featured sleek, long couture gowns crafted from the finest fabrics.  These were accentuated by gold embroidery and complemented by various tuxedo styles with metallic accents.  Seventeen womenswear and four menswear looks comprised the collection, showcasing Le Catou's signature use of luxurious fabrics and intricate designs. Pops of bright colors and Martin's African heritage infused the collection, setting a new couture trend.
