Two Downtown Springfield Startups Earn $20,000 Grants; Two More Recognized as Emerging Businesses
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - illiNews -- As part of our ongoing commitment to investing in the future of downtown Springfield, Isringhausen Imports is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Isringhausen DRIVE Grant, our signature initiative supporting new business startups in our hometown.
This year, we're awarding two $20,000 Isringhausen DRIVE Grants to standout startups ready to make their mark, along with the first-ever $5,000 Isringhausen Ignition Awards, created to honor early-stage entrepreneurs whose creativity and determination are bringing new energy and unique spaces to downtown Springfield.
The expanded $50,000 pool for the 2025 Isringhausen DRIVE Grant is made possible through a generous partnership with a Trust of an anonymous Springfield resident who passed away in 2020. A longtime believer in the city's potential, this donor wished to see downtown Springfield thrive for generations to come. Their legacy lives on through the entrepreneurs we're proud to support today that will make a more vibrant downtown.
