NAPERVILLE, Ill. ~ Naperville, Illinois - The City of Naperville has announced that they will be partnering with J. Gill and Company to perform maintenance work at the Central Parking Facility located at 75 E. Chicago Ave. The work is set to begin on Monday, Oct. 13 and will be completed in three phases, with each phase focusing on one parking level at a time.
According to city officials, the maintenance work is necessary to ensure the safety and functionality of the parking facility. The first two phases will involve minor concrete repairs on the first and second levels, while the top level will undergo a recoating and striping process to maintain its water membrane.
The project is expected to take approximately three weeks, with each phase taking about one week to complete. The second level will be the first to undergo maintenance starting on Oct. 13, followed by the top level and then finally the first level. If all goes as planned, all parking spaces should be reopened by the end of October.

During each phase, the level being worked on will be closed off completely for parking. However, the other levels will remain open for use. To ensure safety and minimize confusion for visitors, there will be signage and barricades in place indicating which levels are closed off.
While most entrances to the parking facility will remain open during this time, there may be isolated closures when necessary for work to be completed. In such cases, visitors are advised to use alternate entrances.
The maintenance crews will be working from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, efforts will also be made to open up as much parking as possible on weekends as well. Motorists are reminded to follow all posted signage and use caution when accessing the facility during this time.
