~ Naperville Fire Department divers were conducting training exercises in Lake Osborne on Thursday morning when they made a startling discovery. Just before 11 a.m., the team found a submerged vehicle in the southwest portion of the lake, prompting a call for assistance from Naperville Police.

Upon arrival, officers, detectives, and crime scene technicians joined the divers to recover the vehicle and begin an investigation. By 3:40 p.m., the vehicle was removed from the lake and identified as a 1992 Nissan Maxima.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was connected to an ongoing missing person case from Berwyn Police Department. The car's license plate number matched that of Hiep Luu, who was reported missing in 2003. While suspected human remains were found inside the vehicle, they have yet to be identified.
