NAPERVILLE, Ill. ~ Naperville, Illinois - The City of Naperville, Naperville Public Library, and Naper Pride have joined forces to host a unique event called the Human Library®. This program will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the 95th Street Library located at 3015 Cedar Glade Dr.

The Human Library® was created by a Denmark-based nonprofit organization and aims to create a safe space for personal conversations that challenge prejudice and discrimination. It also strives to promote greater cohesion across social, religious, and ethnic divisions. Instead of borrowing books, attendees will have the opportunity to "check out" human books with diverse life experiences. These human books will share their stories and attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
