CHICAGO, June 11, 2025 ~ The South Dakota Office of Licensing and Accreditation (OLA) has recently announced the launch of its new Management Information System (MIS), which aims to modernize and improve the provider licensing and accreditation processes for state agencies, service providers, and constituents.
Developed by RedMane Technology, this digital solution has been rolled out to a variety of provider types, including child care programs, youth care facilities, and accredited behavioral health providers. By utilizing technology, the MIS streamlines the licensing and accreditation processes for these providers, including background checks, inspections, and compliance monitoring. This not only reduces administrative burden but also improves service quality and transparency.
According to Tony Lakier, CEO of RedMane Technology, "With the launch of South Dakota's new MIS solution, we are empowering OLA staff and providers with an integrated, efficient, and user-friendly system." He further explains that by leveraging technology, they are ensuring that licensing, compliance, and accreditation processes are more accessible, secure, and effective for all stakeholders.
