SANTA CLARA, Calif. - illiNews -- netElastic, a leading innovator in software solutions for broadband, today announced that SUMOFIBER, a leading US broadband service provider operating on Utopia Fiber's open-access wholesale network, completed the successful deployment of netElastic's virtual Broadband Network Gateway (vBNG) solution, which includes integrated Carrier Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT). The move replaces legacy infrastructure with a modern, software-defined platform that has dramatically improved subscriber management, billing reliability, and operational efficiency - enabling SUMOFIBER to continue its rapid geographic expansion while maintaining its signature combination of outstanding local service and affordable pricing.

The vBNG automates subscriber provisioning, configuration changes, and session management through software-defined networking. This eliminates the manual work and expensive hardware that previously stood between SUMOFIBER and a streamlined network.
