CHICAGO, May 17, 2025 ~ At the National Restaurant Association 2025 show (NRA), Artly made a splash with the unveiling of new upgrades to their fully automated robotic barista, the Barista Bot. The upgrades were met with excitement and admiration from attendees, as they showcase the cutting-edge technology and innovation that is driving the restaurant industry forward.
One of the most notable upgrades is the introduction of a mini version of the Barista Bot, now only 4ft x 4ft in size. This compact design allows for easier integration into smaller spaces such as coffee shops, event venues, and restaurants. Along with its smaller size, the mini Barista Bot also boasts a bigger refrigerator for increased storage capacity.
In addition to its practical upgrades, Artly has also added a customizable design feature to the Barista Bot's countertops. This allows for a more seamless fit into different settings and décor styles, making it a versatile addition to any establishment.
But perhaps the most impressive upgrade is the improved learning ability of the Barista Bot. Using Artly's Vision-Language-Action (VLA) AI model, which was trained using motion capture data from world-class baristas, the bot can now make even more beverages with precision and skill. This includes intricate latte art that has wowed customers since its first model five years ago.
