CHICAGO, May 15, 2025 ~ The Elks National Foundation has recently welcomed 850 new students into their family, awarding over $3.9 million in scholarships to deserving high school seniors. These scholarships not only provide financial aid, but also offer an invitation to a network of like-minded individuals and the promise of support from an Elks Lodge.
Out of a pool of more than 21,500 applicants for the Most Valuable Student scholarship, the Top 20 scholars were selected to receive $30,000 scholarships and a trip to Chicago for the Leadership Weekend. The class of 2025 Top 20 scholars gathered in front of the Elks National Memorial in Chicago for a group photo, joined by past scholars who returned to serve as leaders during the MVS Leadership Weekend.
In addition to these top scholars, 2025 Elks Legacy Awards recipients were also announced. These recipients, including Chandler Benjamin from New York, Tanner Fealy from Idaho, Reese Hageman from New Jersey, Kale Cornell from Oregon, Angiovanna McMahill from California, and Fynn Gullicks from North Dakota, each received $4,000 scholarships. It is worth noting that all Legacy Awards recipients are either children or grandchildren of Elks members.
