CHICAGO - illiNews -- The Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce (GECC) proudly announces the launch of its latest cohort for the Englewood Solar Shared Renewables (ESR) Training Program, which began on April 1, 2026, and will run through June 10, 2026.
Now in its ongoing implementation, the ESR Training Program continues to equip Englewood residents with the skills, certifications, and real-world experience needed to enter the fast-growing renewable energy industry. As demand for clean energy careers rises, GECC remains committed to connecting the community to sustainable, high-wage opportunities.

With multiple cohorts already completed, the ESR Training Program continues to be a powerful workforce development pipeline—combining classroom instruction with practical, on-the-job training led by industry experts.

The current cohort will complete training on June 10, 2026, after an intensive program designed to build both technical expertise and workforce readiness.
