Karen Peck, Vice President of Clinical Services-East at Brookdale Senior Living, has been named a "Women of Distinction" honoree by McKnight's for her significant contributions to the senior living industry. The prestigious program, now in its sixth year, recognizes women who have made a positive impact in the senior living, skilled nursing, or home care fields.
Peck's induction into the Hall of Honor is a testament to her exceptional leadership and expertise in the industry. The Hall of Honor recognizes senior-level professionals at a level equivalent to vice president or higher.
With 35 years of experience as a registered nurse in various clinical and healthcare management settings, Peck brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role at Brookdale. Her experience includes long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, dementia care, and geriatric care management. In her current position, she oversees health care services and quality for 348 Brookdale communities across 26 states.

Expressing her gratitude for the recognition, Peck said, "I am truly honored and blessed to be working for such a great company that is so committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve. This is my passion." She joined Brookdale in 2011 and has been an integral part of the company's success ever since.
The McKnight's Women of Distinction awards are a joint program by McKnight's Long-Term Care News, McKnight's Senior Living, and McKnight's Home Care. Nominations were evaluated by an external panel of industry experts before selecting the winners. All honorees will be celebrated at an in-person event on May 14 in Chicago.
