America's #1 Guacamole Recipe Cook-Off at Burbank Boys and Girls Club
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - illiNews -- America's Best Home Recipes' release of an 'Easy Smoky Garden Guacamole" video in December (2022) stayed at the top of Google News searches for weeks leading to the New Year. The raw vegan recipe is so simple to prepare, Chef Mick hosted a cook-off at the Burbank Boys and Girls Club (BBGC). Armed with forks and butter knives, teen teams The MVP's and The Influencers faced off to see who could make the Best Guacamole.
Earlier in the the week, the BBGC had a visit from Mario Lopez with a cooking demo from Knorr Seasonings. A hard act to follow, for sure. Chef Mick's Smoky Garden Guacamole recipe consists of 7 simple ingredients: Avocado, Onion, Tomato, Olive Oil, Lemon, Cumin and Cilantro. OK- there are 9 components if you add Salt and Pepper to taste.
A preview video of the contest was released on Monday, where the teams are introduced. In the next segment we will meet the volunteer Judge panel and see how the dishes were done.
For those who missed it, the Smoky Garden Guacamole recipe covers a galaxy of eating styles: All Natural, Whole Foods, Gluten Free, Vegan, Raw Food Diet, Paleo, Keto, Soy Free, Dairy Free, Superfoods, Heart Healthy, etc…
