The Dominican Republic proudly secured third place among 16 countries at the 52nd Fiesta DC Parade of Nations, under the visionary leadership of Raiza Bonaparte. At the awards ceremony on December 15th. This year's presentation marked the International Celebration of the 170th Anniversary of Merengue, honoring the music, dance, and rich cultural heritage of the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican delegation captivated judges and audiences with a visually stunning float, dynamic dance performances, and a powerful cultural message highlighting merengue as a UNESCO-recognized gift to humanity. The float's concept was led by the award-winning Tila Berrocal, while the elegant and theme-inspired outfits were designed by renowned fashion designer Ramon Antonio, showcasing Dominican artistry and tradition.

"This recognition reflects the dedication, passion, and unity of everyone who made this vision a reality," said Bonaparte. "Together, we shared the beauty and cultural strength of the Dominican Republic with the world."
