SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Sept. 18, 2025 ~ HeartcoR Solutions, a leading core lab specializing in the collection, analysis, and reporting of cardiac safety and other physiological data in clinical trials, has announced significant growth in its suite of remote monitoring technology. This expansion is made possible through partnerships with Blue Spark Technologies, Inc. and QT Medical, allowing HeartcoR to offer a comprehensive solution for clinical trial sponsors.
According to Ciaran Cooper, CEO of HeartcoR Solutions, the ability to prove the safety and efficacy of new medical devices and therapeutics is crucial for healthcare innovation. By expanding their suite of remote monitoring devices, HeartcoR is empowering clinical trial sponsors to save time and streamline workflows by sourcing all their device needs through one partner.
The demand for more inclusive and patient-centric healthcare has led the pharmaceutical and medical device industries to seek out remote monitoring solutions for collecting vital data on the safety and efficacy of new interventions in clinical trials. The global remote patient monitoring market is projected to grow at a rapid pace from 2025 to 2033, with an increasing number of new devices entering the market. This includes consumer-based at-home monitoring devices as well as sophisticated patches worn under physician supervision for various physiological measurements. In order to capitalize on this opportunity, clinical trial sponsors must be able to efficiently source devices for different physiological measures.

HeartcoR Solutions' expansion of its suite of remote patient monitoring devices aims to improve access and convenience for subjects in clinical trials while driving better data collection, streamlining processes, and reducing overall trial costs.
The newest additions to HeartcoR's technology suite include the TempTraq® from Blue Spark Technologies, Inc., an FDA-cleared Class II medical device that provides continuous real-time body temperature monitoring. This one-time-use device has a battery life of 72 hours and connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, allowing patients to move freely while being monitored. The TempTraq® data can be integrated with electronic health records (EHRs) and remote patient monitoring platforms, providing a more comprehensive view of patient health for clinical trials.
The PCA 500 from QT Medical is another addition to HeartcoR's technology suite. This hospital-quality, 12-lead ECG device can be easily applied by the patient at home or at a clinical trial testing site. The kit includes a compact recorder, QT Medical's patented preconnected and prepositioned electrode strips (QHeart sensor), a user-friendly mobile app, and a HIPAA-compliant cloud dashboard for data transfer and management. The device has a rechargeable battery, is lightweight, and connects wirelessly to a Bluetooth device for easy ECG data acquisition and transmission.
