NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2024 ~ WHP Global, a leading brand in the world of sports, has recently announced the addition of Chicago Fire FC midfielder Kellyn Acosta to its roster of athletes. This news comes as a major boost for the brand, which already boasts a star-studded lineup including New England Revolution defender Tim Parker, Seattle Reign FC and U.S. Women's National Team member Sofia Huerta, and over 300 professional soccer players from around the globe.
Acosta, who is also a member of the 2022 FIFA World Cup U.S. Men's National Team, will now be representing LOTTO® both on and off the pitch. As part of his partnership with the brand, he will be sporting LOTTO footwear during games and promoting the brand through social media and live appearances throughout the year.
Expressing his excitement about this collaboration, Acosta said, "LOTTO is a storied brand with a rich soccer history. I am particularly fond of their Stadio OG cleats – the premium leather and Italian craftsmanship truly shine through. I am also looking forward to showcasing some of their timeless lifestyle classics off the field, such as the soccer-inspired Brasil Select shoes."

In addition to Acosta's signing, WHP Global has also announced the launch of LOTTO's lifestyle footwear collection – LOTTO Leggenda – in partnership with retailer DICK'S Sporting Goods. This marks an important milestone for LOTTO as it will now be available for purchase at brick-and-mortar retail stores in the U.S., in addition to being available online at Dicks.com/LOTTO.
The LOTTO Leggenda collection pays tribute to some of the brand's most iconic shoes from the '70s, '80s, and '90s by transforming them into fashion masterpieces that honor legendary athletes who have made a lasting impact in their respective sports. The collection includes soccer-inspired models like Brasil Select for men and women, as well as tennis-inspired models like Autograph and Signature, available exclusively in men's and women's sizes respectively. These lifestyle models not only pay homage to the brand's sporting heritage but also feature the latest innovations to ensure maximum comfort outside of sporting competitions.
Effy Zinkin, COO at WHP Global, expressed her excitement about Acosta joining the LOTTO family, saying, "Kellyn is the perfect fit as we continue to expand our presence and influence in the U.S. soccer market. His on-field performance as a player and his style off the pitch make him an ideal partner for our lifestyle footwear collection, which is now available to U.S. consumers at DICKS."
