CHICAGO, Nov. 17, 2023 ~ project44, the leading supply chain visibility platform, was recently selected as a 2023 winner of the Chicago Innovation Awards. The award recognizes project44's Movement by project44™ platform, which combines the company's product suite on a single platform and creates an AI-driven digital infrastructure that delivers end-to-end visibility and enhanced capabilities across all transportation modes and geographies.
The award ceremony was attended by Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, with project44 being one of only 20 innovators chosen from over 300 nominations. Jett McCandless, Founder and CEO of project44, expressed his gratitude for the recognition: "project44 is a global company, but Chicago is where we were founded, so we're especially grateful to receive this award that recognizes innovators in this growing tech hub."
In addition to the Chicago Innovation Award, project44 also earned the Lessen Entrepreneurial Spirit Award from event sponsor Lessen (formerly SMS Assist). This annual honor recognizes companies with a unique approach that disrupts industries. The Movement platform is transforming the way leading brands manage supply chains by leveraging the world's largest real-time transportation dataset and advanced data science.

Prior to Movement by project44, users had to toggle across multiple screens and systems to get information due to global supply chains being complex and involving numerous geographies and modes. Movement provides a view that didn't exist before, delivering real-time end-to-end visibility accessible across systems and roles for shippers, logistics professionals and carriers alike.
Mr. Morihisa Nakamura from Roland commented on how Movement has enabled them to plan freight movement more effectively: "Since Movement brings data from all modes and geographies onto a single platform, we expect its deployment to reduce our logistics workload by 30%, allowing us to communicate with freight forwarders on shipment routes in a timely manner based on project44's real-time transportation visibility and analytics so that we can meet our designated lead time."
project44 is helping companies solve their most complex multimodal visibility challenges through its innovative solutions such as Movement by project44™.
