LAS VEGAS - March 8, 2019 - illiNews -- The Latino Leader Network (LLN), a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing leaders together, will convene its 57th Latino Luncheon Series event to honor Brian Sandoval, 29th Governor of Nevada, with the Eagle Leadership Award on Friday, March 15th from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Vdara Hotel & Spa (2600 Harmon Avenue, Las Vegas, NV). Guest speakers include Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, The Honorable Júlian Castro and Marcela Rodriguez-Campo of the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada.
Brian Sandoval was governor from 2011 to 2019. Sandoval is also a former U.S. District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Prior to his service as a federal judge, he served as Attorney General of Nevada, the youngest chairman of the Gaming Commission of Nevada and a state legislator. Sandoval was also the first Hispanic candidate elected to statewide office in Nevada.
In January, Sandoval joined MGM Resorts International as President of Global Gaming Development to head MGM's global expansion plans in Japan and focus on state public policy efforts around sports gaming.

Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada will be featured as the event community partner. The book features 33 keynote addresses delivered at the Latino Leaders Luncheon Series by leaders from a wide variety of occupations, including government, sports, entertainment, education, journalism and more.
