Victor Ciardelli, CEO & President of Rate Companies Launches "Pitch in to Fight ALS" Fundraiser with Goal of Raising $1,000,000 for ALS Nonprofits

CHICAGO, Nov. 4, 2024 ~ Chicago, IL- Rate, the second largest retail mortgage lender in the country, has announced the launch of their latest fundraising campaign, "Pitch in to Fight ALS." The one-week campaign, which will run from November 4 through November 8, aims to raise $1,000,000 for leading ALS nonprofits. This initiative holds a special significance for the company and its President & CEO, Victor Ciardelli, as it was inspired by the four-year battle of Rate employee Randy Ernst with ALS.

Ciardelli and Ernst have been close friends for over 20 years and this fundraiser is a way for the company to show their support and make a meaningful impact in the fight against ALS. As part of the campaign, Rate will match every donation up to $500,000, effectively doubling the impact and helping reach the $1,000,000 goal. The donations will benefit six nonprofit partners dedicated to ALS research and support: Augie's Quest, Healing ALS, Hope Loves Company, I Am ALS, the Les Turner ALS Foundation, and Team Gleason.
