RIVERSIDE, Calif., July 31, 2024 ~ Fidelis Security, a leading cybersecurity company, has recently announced the appointment of Drew Orsinger as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over 25 years of experience in the security field, Drew brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
Prior to joining Fidelis, Drew held prominent positions in both government and private sectors. He served as Chief Security Officer (CSO) for companies such as SpaceX, Honeywell, and CME Group, where he played a crucial role in enhancing their cyber and physical security measures.
Before his time in the private sector, Drew spent 16 years working for the U.S. Government. During this time, he served as the Risk and Resilience Section Chief at Argonne National Laboratory, providing security analysis on infrastructure protection and cybersecurity warfare. He also worked as a Protective Security Advisor for the Department of Homeland Security in Chicago, conducting vulnerability assessments on critical infrastructure.
Drew's impressive career also includes leading interagency security operations at the Department of Homeland Security in Washington D.C. His journey began in the Coast Guard where he served for 9 years in various roles related to operations, intelligence, and policy. He also acted as a liaison to the FBI's Strategic Information Operations Center following the 9/11 attacks while serving as a White House Social Aide.
