CHICAGO - Feb. 1, 2019 - illiNews -- February will feel like a breath of fresh air, literally.
Better Times, After A Hard January
Last month turned out to be challenging for many people. While January usually brings a more sober feeling, the 2019 edition of January was heavier and harder than usual, according to Astrologer Anne.
"Every year, at the end of December, the Sun moves into Capricorn and remains there until the third week of January," said Astrologer Anne. "Capricorn is a hard working earth sign and comes right after fun loving Sagittarius, so we feel that change strongly and know on every level that we need to get serious and get down to work while the Sun is in Capricorn.
"It can be great energy for getting difficult work accomplished," she continued. "Yet it also can feel heavy and hard and a bit depressing. This year, those energies were stronger because we have some powerful planets in Capricorn for a long period and because we had two eclipses during the month that brought sudden changes. So we all had plenty to cope with."

February Will Feel Lighter - It's Our Time To Lighten Up
The good news is that February will feel so much better than January.
"For the first 18 days of February, the Sun is in Aquarius," Astrologer Anne said. "Aquarius is an air sign, so it automatically feels lighter than Capricorn. Also, during February, we'll have many uplifting planetary alignments that will feel hopeful and optimistic, helping us lighten up."
Love In The Air
Also, February brings Valentine's Day in the U.S. and in many other countries. This year, the astrological energies on February 14 will ensure that love is in the air and all of us - regardless of whether we're in a relationship - will have a chance to enjoy some sweet interactions with others.
"February's lighter tone will make it easier to enjoy Valentine's Day," said Astrologer Anne. "Also, it's lovely that this holiday comes during Aquarius time every year. This sign is strongly connected to friendship and humanitarian impulses, so even if you're not in a relationship, you can have a wonderful time by going out with friends or volunteering at a charity event - and you might very well meet someone special."
