GECC Announces Basic Financials for Business Program and October Chamber Meeting

CHICAGO - illiNews -- The Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce (GECC) is thrilled to announce two upcoming events designed to support local business owners and community members.

GECC is excited to launch the Basic Financials for Business Program, designed to help small business owners in Englewood improve their fiscal responsibility and grow their businesses. The program orientation took place today, September 30th at 10:30 am, with four in-depth sessions beginning October 7th and running through November 7th, 2024.

Participants will learn essential financial skills and knowledge across four sessions:
  1. Cost of Labor
  2. Inventory & Cost of Goods
  3. Operational Expenses
  4. Profit & Loss Statement

Each session builds on the previous, equipping participants with the tools to upscale their businesses. At the end of the program, attendees will receive certificates of completion, signifying their enhanced competency in business financials.
