Growing MedHQ Team Adds Jake Bartelt as Operations Manager

WESTCHESTER, Ill. - April 16, 2019 - illiNews -- Jake Bartelt, an experienced professional in HR outsourcing has joined MedHQ as Operations and Implementation Manager. A healthcare industry-focused HR outsourcing (HRO), client accounting services and professional employer (PEO) company, the new position will help ensure MedHQ continue its growth trajectory serving the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) industry.

In his new role, Bartelt will lead MedHQ's operations and implementation processes and oversee new customers while maintaining fiscal oversight and supporting company growth.

"Jake has deep experience within our industry and understands the service side of our business as well as the specific management systems and operational needs of our clients," says MedHQ CEO Tom Jacobs. "We're excited to have him as part of our expanding team."

Prior to joining MedHQ, Bartelt was director of client services and implementation for a company specializing in HR outsourcing for U.S.-based and global companies. He has experience with several HRIS platforms including HRPyramid, PrismHR, and BambooHR. Beginning his career in telecom, Bartelt worked his way up to a management position before transitioning to a PEO. Working to ensure quality for all clients, he gained knowledge and experience developing and implementing policies and procedures and improving productivity in all areas of PEO/ASO/HRO/EOR.
