CHICAGO, July 10, 2024 ~ In a move to address the growing healthcare talent shortage, Hireology, a top-rated applicant tracking system (ATS) for home care and facilities-based care organizations, has announced a new integration partnership with Activated Insights. Activated Insights, formerly known as Home Care Pulse, is a leading provider of training, recruitment, retention, experience management and recognition tools for long-term and post-acute care organizations.
This partnership aims to empower long-term and post-acute care organizations to attract top-tier Caregivers, RNs and CNAs quickly and ensure long-term retention. According to experts, the demand for nurses is expected to increase by 200,000 by 2031. However, the turnover rate for new nurses is at 18%, resulting in high hiring and training costs ranging from $28,400 to $51,700 per nurse.
Adam Robinson, CEO of Hireology stated that "Given the disparity between talent supply and demand along with high turnover rates, remaining fully staffed becomes a nearly impossible task without effective technology and processes." He further added that the partnership with Activated Insights will provide a true end-to-end solution for remaining competitive in an increasingly challenging healthcare hiring market.

The integration partnership has three main goals for home care and facilities-based care organizations. Firstly, it aims to maximize quality hires while minimizing turnover by utilizing Hireology's best-in-class ATS and partnerships with top job sites like Indeed. Secondly, it streamlines the hiring process from attracting and interviewing candidates to seamlessly onboarding new hires. Lastly, it focuses on recruiting and retaining top talent through Activated Insights' Recruit and Retain tools.
Activated Insights' Recruit tool enables automated outreach and engagement to connect with top caregivers faster than ever before. On the other hand, Retain focuses on reducing employee turnover during the critical first 100 days when the risk is highest.
This partnership is one of several exciting announcements from Hireology in 2024. Recent product updates include a platinum-level partnership with Indeed, an enhanced mobile app experience, and new candidate messaging automations.
