CHICAGO - illiNews -- Insurance Navy announced that the insurance agency joined the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation program, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to less fortunate children every holiday season.
Today through December 9th, Insurance Navy is asking the public to make a cash donation through Insurance Navy's fundraising page or donate new, unwrapped toys at any Insurance Navy location. Insurance Navy will have toy drop off boxes where the public and customers can put their donations in.
"We are happy to announce our first Toys For Tots fundraising effort," says Vice President Rami Sneineh. "Every Insurance Navy location is a designated toy drop off location. We hope to promote our efforts through all our platforms to raise as much money and toys for Toys For Tots as we can."
In 2018, Toys For Tots collected and distributed 101,214 toys to 96,864 Chicago children. Insurance Navy has a fundraising goal of $10,000. The last day to make a donation is December 9th. Insurance Navy will deliver all donations to the Toys For Tots Chicago headquarters on December 10th.
