CHICAGO - illiNews -- In honor of Women's History Month, Janie Flores, founder of Janie's Art Journals, introduces a special series of handcrafted art journals inspired by the stories, resilience, and creativity of women.

Throughout the month of March, Janie's Art Journals will be featured and showcased across Chicago:

  • Chicago Latina Magazine Expo – March 28, 9am-2pm, Humboldt Park Wellness Center, 2933 W Division, Chicago, IL

This limited Women's History Month collection reflects Janie's commitment to uplifting women through sustainable art, storytelling, and creative expression.

In 2025 alone, Janie's Art Journals repurposed more than 3,000 book pages, reused over 300 pieces of cardboard packaging, and upcycled 300+ junk mail envelopes, transforming discarded materials into meaningful works of art that honor both women's stories and environmental stewardship.
