Naperville, Ill. - The Naperville Police Department has made an arrest in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation. The Naperville Police Special Operations Group took charge of the investigation and identified Eugene Walker, a 33-year-old man from Chicago, as a suspect. On October 15th, detectives observed Walker approaching a building in the Pebblewood Lane area and subsequently made contact with him.

Walker, who resides on the 1200 block of South Springfield Avenue in Chicago, was later transported to DuPage County Jail. In response to this arrest, Naperville Police Chief Jason Arres expressed his gratitude towards his team for their efforts in taking these dangerous drugs off the streets.
"Our department will continue to be proactive and hold those accountable who bring these drugs into our city," said Chief Arres.
The Naperville Police also want to remind both the public and news media that charges are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The department urges anyone with information related to this case or any other illegal activities to come forward and assist in keeping their community safe.
